Big Band Dance a Success!

band-2It may have been small, but Damascus Lion’s made a profit and provided the community a great night!
What a success!!!

We had great turnout.  It was a beautiful night.  Lion’s served the community big time at the American Legion Hall.
Roland Cumberland, the band director at 89 years of age brought us a smashing performance.  The band was great!  The singers as always were at their best!

The food couldn’t have been better and the crowd was dynamic!
Even with the heat with no air conditioning yet, everyone had a good time!!!

It was the kind of night that makes you unable to wait until next year.  Many Damascus Lions’ deserve a warm round of applause for serving the community at the Big Band event of 2009.

Special thanks go out to…
