Damascus Lions Club members work hard to be of service to our community.   Below are lists of some of our public service projects and fundraisers:

Public service projects include:

• Blood Bank with American Red Cross
• Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets for the Needy
• Free Hospital Equipment Loan Closet
• Highway Clean-up Crew
• Christmas Decorations for Downtown Damascus
• Damascus Community Fair
• Sponsorship of Damascus HS; Rocky Hill, John Baker, and MLK MS Leo Clubs
• Support for Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Middle and High School Activities
• Scholarship and Student Loans
• Collection of Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids

Fund raising activities include:

(All proceeds from the club’s community fund raising activities are 100% devoted to public service projects and programs. The administrative costs of the club are met separately through dues and internal fund raising activities.)
