This year’s Charter Night was another Damascus Lion success. There were 60 Lions and guests in attendance. We had many of the District “Big Wigs” including our Governor Steve Borsh and his wife Frances. Our other guests included 1st Vice DG Carl Vettel, 2nd Vice DG Andrea Cumberland, Cabinet Secretary Mary Dehart, Cabinet Treasurer Dustin Fain, Admin Assistant Sonia Wiggins and her husband, Dave, and Past DG Sandi Halterman. We also had our own PDG Jim Belcher and wife Mary. This year’s award recipients were Lion of the Year – Patsy McKenzie, Lion of the Years- Tony and Barbara Barry, Emerson Slacum- Chris Fletcher, and 2 Melvin Jones recipients John Washington and Del Mayhew.
