On Thursday Sept. 8 our lions club showed their support to the community by coming out and helping take entries at the Damascus Community fair. I wish to thank Lions Chris, Mary-Frances, Dale, Patsy, Sandy and partner in service Fran Peters for all the hard work that they did. The fair entries were down by about 80 people. We had Vegetables, Backed Goodies, Canned Products, Art, Photos, Sewing, Woodworking, & Electric products. There are many talented people of all ages in our community & the fair gives them a chance to show it. There still was a good display at the end of the night when everything was put in place.
