Did you know that the Damascus Lions maintains two completely separate financial accounts? Our Foundation Account holds all funds that are contributed from outside of our Club membership. All of these funds must be used for our benevolence programs and activities and are returned into the Damascus and surrounding communities. We have a totally separate small financial account for funding of our internal Club operations; all of the funds of this account come from our own membership. Each of the two accounts is managed by a separate Treasurer in the Club and receive periodic independent audits. The bottom line is this: every penny contributed from outside of our club is returned to the community! Our Club serves Damascus AND its surrounding communities. It’s great to be a Lion.
