The Damascus Lions Club is pleased to offer two different types of scholarships for high school senior students graduating in 2017 :
1. Unique Achievement Scholarships
The “Unique Achievement Scholarship.” For the second year we are offering three scholarships to three graduating seniors from the Damascus or Clarksburg High School Clusters who have actively demonstrated an attempt to overcome a unique challenge during their high school years. These students are ones who stand up to the challenges presented to them. These are also students who are planning to enroll in a junior college or a technical/vocational school after high school.

2. Vernon R. Simpson Scholarships
The Damascus Lions Club will continue to offer our Vernon R. Simpson Scholarships to graduating seniors from the Damascus or Clarksburg High School Clusters . These applicants will be evaluated on community service, leadership potential in high school and non-school activities, character, volunteerism & work experience.
