Five members from our club attended the NBC-4 Health and Fitness Expo on Saturday, March 16: Lions Chris Fletcher, Barbara Devine, Barbara and Tony Barry and Wayne Marr.
Lion Tony Barry wore our Lions Costume and walked about with the aid of Lion Barbara Barry. Wayne Marr worked on hearing screening, Lion Barbara Devine – vision screening, and Lion Chris Fletcher – registration and greeting visitors.
The Lion walking about the convention floor is always a great hit with the kids young and old!
Several clubs from 22-C worked the morning shift; where attendance was a bit slow in the morning; but picked up as the day went along.
I send forth a hearty “Thanks” to those that took time out of their busy schedule to attend and represent our club in this worthy activity.
