Kites Over Clarksburg was held on Mar 31 at Ovid Hazen Wells Parks. It was a beautiful day. It started out a little chilly but warmed up as the day progressed. The sky was filled with an array of colors and shapes of all kinds of kites.
I talked to visitors about Lionism and handed out several of the Damascus Lions Club brochure. We had one person sign up for more information about becoming a member.
Participants of the Festival were asked to bring can food to be donated to Germantown/Damascus Help or used glasses to be donated to the Damascus Lions Club. We collected 21 pair of glasses. I dropped off 5 grocery bags and 2 large boxes of food to Damascus Help.
