The Damascus Lions Club participated in the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo again this year. Six brave Lions took the Metro down to the DC Convention Center early in the morning on Saturday, January 12. KL Chris Fletcher, Lions Julie Sain, Barbara & Tony Barry, Wayne Marr and Marcia Holpuch. Lion Tony wore the lion costume and was escorted around the expo by Lions Barbara and Chris. Julie did preschool eye screening and Wayne screened the adults. Marcia checked people in. After completing our 2 hour shift we headed back to Damascus and enjoyed a late lunch at the Hornet’s Nest Café. Many thanks to all of you for giving up your Saturday to help with this worthy project.
