October 20th Lion Mary Frances, Lion Marcia and I attended the Lions Region 1, Zone 1 meeting. Each Club was to give a report of their activities from July 1st on. Our report was given with this list:
Damascus Days – Pancake Breakfast, Flea Market, Keys Baseball Game, Montgomery County Ag. Fair – Ice Cream dipping, etc., Montgomery County Ag. Fair – Health Unit screening, Damascus Community Fair – Ice Cream Contest, Damascus Community Fair – Gave out Popcorn – 1700 bags, DLC Induction of Pastor John Ampia-Addison by PDG Dee Hawkins, Charter Night – Celebrated 70th year. Inducted Jenny Redifer, Neville Levi, and Transfer of Dustin Fain, Fall Pancake Breakfast, Clean up Adopted Road frequently, Blood Drive, Damascus Community Fair Awards presented, Art Festival.
