So here we are, a couple days from the Labor Day weekend and summer is almost over. I don’t know about you all, but I like the heat. I can take the heat. I don’t like the cold!
Speaking of cold: Let’s give a big hand to Lions Gary Rogers and Charles Hertel for leading the Ice Cream dipping at the fair. Thanks for all of you who volunteered to scoop. I heard through the grapevine that our club was the most generous in scooping. That’s the kind of stuff we exhibit whenever we are called on in every activity that we do.
Even though the weather is cooling off, our schedule is heating up. September 7-9 is the Damascus Fair. Before you know it, we are into October then November. Where has the time gone?
