Summer is almost over but we are starting to heat up. I hope all of my fellow Lions enjoyed the summer. It’s back to school and back to cool. Thanks go out to Lion Charlie Hertel and his crew for Ice c ream Dipping. The weather wasn’t great, but is cleared in the afternoon. Thank you to Lion Mary Frances for heading up the Sight & Hearing Testing and thanks to Lion Tony and his crew for the highway clean up. We had a successful Blood Drive. I gave early and there were a lot of people there. Thank you to Lion Joy for greeting everyone who gave. Don’t forget, the Damascus Community Fair is coming up and we need volunteers.
