The Spring Pancake Breakfast and Bake/Craft Table event was held Saturday, March 19, 2011 in the Dining Room at Damascus United Methodist Church from 7-11 a.m. On Friday, March 18th the setup helpers made the Dining Room ready. Those, who helped, were Lions Bob Newlin, Ken Cook, Ken Phillips, Bill Mahylis, Warren Schwab, Tom Jackson, Mary Frances Gosnell. In the Kitchen were Lions Tom Jackson, Sue Suddath, Warren and Joy Schwab and Joann Woodson.
Early Saturday morning the food and drinks were prepared. Bake Sale/Craft Table items were accepted. Helpers during the day were Lions Dennis Babb, Barbara and Tony Barry, Fran Burlas, Martin Carr, Carol and Ken Cook, Tom Didone, Bernie Duplan, Donna Feuillet, Chris Fletcher, Mary Frances Gosnell, Charlie and Tammy Hertel, George Hibbard, Su-Ling Huang, Charlie and Marcia Holpuch, Tom Jackson, Bill Mahylis, Jerry Mallack, Wayne Marr, Ray Molesworth, Bob Newlin, Jack Peters, Ken Phillips, Dee and Rusty Reichmeider, Gary Rogers, Joy and Warren Schwab, Lee Sellers, Carol and Charlie Stone, Sue Suddath, Mike Thornett, Jennifer Warfield, and John Washington. Lion Family helpers were Stephanie Huang and David McReynolds. Leos from Damascus High Schools were Casey Brown, Patrick Jordon, Vanessa King, Natalee Sarintra, Kelsey Turner, Knashka Underwood and Bryan Wao. John T. Baker Leos were Hannah Adkins, Taylor Carls, Brooke Lawrence, Sierra McClure, and Michelle Thomas; Sponsors, Heather Geehreng and Debbie Volley were there. We served 254 with a Profit of $1,631.04 Special thanks to those who bought and/or sold tickets.
